Get Optimised Reader (the "Reader") is a small reading app for news and research about Generative Engine Optimization. This page explains, in plain English, what we store about you and why.

Who we are

The Reader is run by Kunwar (one person, contact below). It is not backed by a company. There are no advertisers and no third-party trackers.

Signing in

You can browse the Reader as a guest. To save articles, take notes, build collections, or use any feature that needs to remember something for next time, you sign in with Google. We use Google sign-in via Supabase; we never see your Google password.

From Google we receive only:

What we store

We do not store your Google password, your contacts, your location, or anything from other Google services. We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers.

Where it lives

Your profile and activity sit in a Supabase Postgres database. Article content is fetched by our crawler from public web pages and stored separately — those rows are not tied to you.

Cookies

The Reader uses one cookie / local-storage entry to keep you signed in. No advertising cookies, no analytics cookies.

Deleting your account

Email kunwar9815@gmail.com from the address you signed in with and ask for deletion. We will remove your profile row and your activity rows within 7 days.

Children

The Reader is not intended for users under 13.

Changes

If this page changes in a way that meaningfully affects you, we'll note the new date at the top.
